Transhumanism is the use of artificial intellegence in place of the human mind. There are people among us who want to substitute your ability to think freely and independently with a computer program. Let that sink in. It took me a few moments to fully absorb. Science has opened another doorway into endless possibilities. With technology, the human element can be replaced completely! But is it a good idea to allow the human element to be erased completely? As humans begin to transform into cyborgs, We should be asking ourselves: “Is this the future we hoped for our children and their children?”
I remember the first time I read through the book of Genesis in the bible. There was a section about the “Tree of Knowledge” that didn’t sound right to me.
“But you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for on the day you eat from it, you will certainly die.”

Why would God forbid man from accessing knowledge of good and evil? Well, now it makes sense. With free will, man can think either way. As a child, we are cuirious and pure in our thinking, as we explore our world. As adults, we think with our motives more than our intentions.

Transhumanism seems like a bold task to make real, but with an endless budget and support from the most powerful people on the planet, it could very likely become the future for mankind. Look around and you will see the push for an end to civil liberties and an all powerful ruling class. This is nothing new. As citizens of a free society, we are hard to control if we are able to think freely. Removal of this element of free thought will make the transition a lot easier for those befind the push. All it takes is enough time and money to control your thoughts and actions now. Imagine the savings if that could be achieved with a simple change in the programming code?

Those who are pushing for transhumanism say that they want to elimanate the process of death and death itself altogether! That sounds like a good idea right? No more sickness or pain, we can slow the signs of aging, and no more death? That just sounds too good to be true! Well it is because, like your computer, it can get infected by a virus, and it also can get hacked. Sorry Transhumanists, your ideas sound great, your intentions may be good, but the door to that world also makes it much easier for criminals to thrive. Most of all, you are in defiance with every single universal law in existence! These laws govern the entire universe…not just your dust-speck-sized idea of replacing human consciousness with your little invention. Maybe you can use it to win a trophe at next year’s science fair? Life as a human has a purpose. It’s not to control the path of others, but to define yourself and walk your own. Until we learn who and what we are in these flesh vehicles, we will keep repeating the third grade. The earth is a playground for everyone, even those who are slow to get it. Keep at it.
