“As within, so without, as above, so below.”

The Kybalion

Some of us are familiar with an old piece of wisdom that states:

O ur outer world is nothing more than a reflection of our inner world.

This actually is The Law of Correspondence

explained in one sentence.

The Law of Correspondence  says that our current reality is a mirror image of what is going on inside us. In other words, whatever level of conflict we see in the world is the same level of conflict we have going on inside of us. Our reality is a result of our  inner most  dominant thought .

Understanding and Application

Holding on to negative thoughts come with repercussions and consequences.  Ultimately, the negativity becomes a self-perpetuating situation, because the dominant thought becomes rooted in negative energy , as the cycle continues relentlessly, and purely on a subconscious level. This is probably one of the most important of universal laws you can learn. It will literally stop the cycle of negative energy and then switch the flow in another direction.

Shift Your Focus = Shift Your Energy = New Life Experience

Success coach, Bob Proctor  explains the concept of paradigm. Long before he appeared in  The Secret, American author, motivational speaker and success coach, Bob Proctor was a legend in the world of personal development. In this video, Bob Proctor goes into detail about shifting your  paradigm

Michael Jackson has a song called  Man in the Mirror. That song definitely has strong overtones of the Law of Correspondence . This video has even stronger suggestions of that message.

Ancient Wisdom Still in Effect Today

Like all universal laws, they are all interconnected Correspondence works in tandem with O neness. In other words, what we see will correspond with something we don’t see. A tree’s root system will mirror its own canopy. We can look up and see the canopy, and then visualize the roots below the surface.

An old Hermetic proverb spawned these words: “As above, so below; as below, so above.” Those who grasp this principle and are able to apply it, possess the skeleton key to unlock every one of life’s mysteries. The ancient Hermetics considered the principles of correspondence as one of the most important tools by which mankind was able to see beyond the obstacles which hid the unknown.

The key to personal freedom and peace of mind is to change your thoughts! Happiness comes by focusing exclusively on what it is that we truly desire. Little by little, we will eliminate all thoughts of what we don’t want. As this happens, we shape our lives to our own specifications consciously.

Just as we can use the principals of Geometry to study other galaxies in the universe while seated at the observatory, we can apply the principals of Correspondence to any area of life to explore the unknown with what is known. A lot of people aren’t aware of these laws anymore. You can be a teacher of them to others in your area.

Congratulations!! You’re well on your way to Mastering Your Life!
